I'm right now living a life that is far from what I've dreamed when I was a child
Since I was 5-6, my dreams are all about fashion
While growing up, my ambition always changes
Back in school, teachers always ask about what we wanted to be, but not even once I stated my 'real dream'
I told them my 'fake dream' just to avoid their further questions
I've studied in many kinds of field, pure science (like physics, chemical), accounting, geography, finance {I was forced to, honestly}
Yes, I did well in most of 'em but not even once I feel happy about it, the only thing I'm happy about was seeing my mom's smile when she saw my results
Most of what I've done, and what I'm doing...
I was forced to, by the pressure of the circle around me
Until now, not even once I liked what I'm studying for because my heart is still in my '5-6 dream'
But, just by thinking about stopping, I can't stop my skepticism about what I'm going to be
After all that my mom had done for me, I'm afraid of being the 'disappointing child' since my mom put a lot of hopes on me, rather than her other 2 boys (the oldest and youngest one).
Yea I'm a middle child
Right now, I'm just hoping for the best.
This song is like an advice from someone that is older than me, the ones that can be said as seniors in life which already been through this one phase I'm facing rn
