In Part 4 of our Chicago Great Western series, we return to the Chicago to St Charles line and reconsider the placement and location of the Bellwood Station, in Bellwood, Illinois. As we strive for accuracy in our videos, we paid attention when one of our viewers, Jerry Hund, railway researcher and former resident of Bellwood, provided evidence to suggest alternative locations of the Bellwood station, challenging our location of the station nearby the Indiana Harbor Belt interchange. And so we examined Mr Hund's evidence, along with new and additional evidence that we unconvered in our own investigations. The result is a richer and more complete story of a rather mysterious station, which seems to have moved at least a few times in its lifetime.
We also address a few other relatively minor errors in the first three videos of the Chicago Great Western video series.
